THE CARING STAFF

There are five (5) female staff members, in addition to myself, well trained and experienced in child care who regularly care for the children. They have steadily been part of the Mama Bear Program ranging from two (2) to fifteen (15) years. While only one employee is required to be CPR trained by law, the staff and I are all trained and certified each year. Students from various reputable high schools in the city intern with us regularly, enhancing the daily experience for the children. All employees are required to be fingerprinted and subjected to background checks prior to employment with Mama Bear. In addition the staff and I are required to take 30 hours of child development classes to qualify for certification by the Board of Health every two years.
